Since january i have been assigned the job of Program Manager Legal Aid Program in my organization now, I have to manage three units in different cities( Lahore, Karachi Quetta)
Legal Aid Program is a program which provides free legal aid, Psycho Social Counseling and Socio economic services to the Juveniles....
A juvenile is usually defined as a minor (upto 18 years) who has committed an act punishable by Law. Although authorities believe juveniles know the difference between right from wrong, Courts try juveniles as h they are adults.
Juvenile may not be able to handle the technicalities of legal system. Many courtroom officials and judges, have been prosecutes juveniles as adults. Juveniles have that title because they are underage, they are teenagers or children, not adults.
The main reason for a juvenile for whom we are working is rehabilitation so that they do not do it again. May become the productive part of the society.
A big responsibility i have on my shoulders now........
